Business Services is responsible for managing all aspects of the Hollister School District's fiscal activities. The department responsibilities include payroll, employee benefits, inventory control, internal auditing, budget development and management, purchasing, property accounting, and overseeing student funds. The Business Services Department maintains fiduciary responsibility and accountability for Hollister School District students, staff, and community, in an effort to offer each student a premier education in an extraordinary learning environment.
Accounts payable are amounts due to vendors or suppliers for goods or services received that have not yet been paid for. Department staff work with district sites and departments to implement these services.
Payroll & Employee Benefits
Department staff are responsible for processing, updating, and coordinating health and welfare benefits. This includes medical, dental and vision services. Staff is also responsible for processing all certificated, classified, confidential, and management paychecks.
