Through the use of powerful instruction and engaging and inclusive environments we will educate students to achieve their unique success!
The Hollister School District is committed to providing programs designed for students with exceptional needs so they may benefit from and access the core curriculum. Our dedicated team of educators and support staff have the education and expertise to deliver quality instruction for each student in our care.
We recognize our responsibility to provide a free appropriate public education in the least restrictive enviornment to eligible students with disabilities within our district boundaries. Our "child find" process is designed to locate, identify and evaluate children who may have disabilities residing within our district boundaries from transitional kindergarten through grade 8. For students who have not yet matriculated to elementary school, we partner with the San Benito County Office of Education Early Childhood Program to determine eligibility and programming for early childhood special education services.
We provide eligible students with appropriate specialized academic instruction and/or related services as determined by an educational evaluation and the Individualized Educational Program (IEP) team.
